Shopify Carrier Service API

The Carrier Service API provides real-time shipping rates to Shopify. Common carrier services include FedEx, UPS, and USPS. The terms "carrier," "shipping company," and "rate provider" are often used interchangeably.

Note: This service is also known as Carrier Calculated Shipping (CCS)

If you're a Shopify merchant experiencing issues connecting the Zonos Landed Cost (Duty and Tax) app, you may see an alert indicating that the Shopify Carrier Service API must be enabled.

Get access 

Below is a list of ways you can gain access to the Carrier Service API or Carrier-Calculated Shipping (CCS):

• Add it to any plan for a $20 monthly fee.
• Upgrade to the Advanced Shopify plan or higher.
• Switch your billing cycle to an annual cycle.
• Create a development store.

Note: CCS will not be automatically added to your account. You will need to contact Shopify.

After selecting one of the options above, contact Shopify to have the Carrier Service API or CCS enabled for your store.
