Zonos and Česká pošta

A U.S. executive order requires duty to be paid on all shipments entering the U.S. before customs clearance. As of July 24, 2026, the duty prepayment threshold for postal shipments has risen from $800 to $2,500 USD.

To support this change, Česká pošta has partnered with Zonos to provide two compliant shipping solutions:

Zonos app 

For individuals and occasional shippers

The Zonos app allows you to calculate and pay U.S. duties before visiting the post office. It generates a QR code and Declaration ID that serves as proof of duty payment at the counter.

Verified Accounts automate Declaration ID generation and duty remittance, so your U.S.-bound shipments keep moving without manual intervention.

With a Verified Account:

• Generate Declaration IDs via API or Google Sheets
• Duties are calculated, invoiced, and remitted directly to CBP on your behalf
• View invoices and shipment details in the Zonos Dashboard
• No subscription fee — only pay duties and clearance fees per shipment
