Dashboard Lite for verified accounts

Verified accounts receive full access to all Dashboard Lite tools including Item Quoter, order management, shipment tracking, and direct billing. A payment method is required for Verified Accounts. Zonos bills Verified Accounts for U.S. duties, then Zonos handles customs remittance directly to U.S. Customs and Border Control (CBP) on your behalf.

Account requirements 

• Payment method on file: Required for Verified Accounts direct duty payments
• Geographic coverage: Currently available for U.S.-bound shipments only
• Payment responsibility: Direct billing relationship with Zonos
• Verification process: Account verification between you and your postal operator required for full access

Item Quoter 

Item Quoter uses AI-powered technology to generate accurate HS codes for your products. Beyond basic HS code classification, you can validate existing HS codes for consistency, and by adding the made-in country, currency and amount, Item Quoter will return U.S. commercial and postal duty rates.

For online businesses without live duty calculation in their checkout, Item Quoter provides duty rates to help determine appropriate product pricing strategies to account for international duties.

How to use Item Quoter:

1. Go to Item Quoter
2. Enter product information
   • Describe your item clearly
   • For duty cost calculations:
     • Select the country of origin (where manufactured)
     • Enter the product price
   • To improve accuracy: Click (+) to add image URL, category, and/or material.
3. Select destination
   • Choose destination country (required for duty calculation)
   • Leave blank for universal 6-digit HS code
4. Generate duty rates
   • Click Get result
   • Review results including:
     • HS code (6–14 digits depending on country)
     • Confidence scoring
     • Duty rate and calculated duty amount

Understanding duty calculations

When you provide product price and country of origin, Item Quoter delivers comprehensive duty information including total duty costs and detailed breakdowns of individual rates that apply to your product. If your item is excluded from duties, the result will show "Duty exempt".

With the new Executive Order establishing different pricing structures for postal shipments, Item Quoter displays both commercial and postal-specific duty rates.

Orders 

Comprehensive order management and tracking capabilities

Once Zonos receives clearance data for your shipments, orders are automatically created and shipments logged for each tracking number.

Order management features:

• Search & filter: Find orders by number, customer name, email, destination, date range, or total amount
• Order details: View comprehensive breakdowns including items, shipping costs, duties, taxes, and fees

Shipments 

Complete shipment visibility and management

Track all your international shipments with detailed status updates and comprehensive filtering options.

Shipment search & management:

• Filter by amount: Is equal to, is between, is greater than, is less than
• Filter by service level: Express, standard, economy shipping options
• Filter by destination: Country or region
• Filter by date range: Specific time periods
• Search functionality: Find shipments by tracking number or customer details

Invoices 

Dashboard Lite provides comprehensive billing and invoice management for verified shippers responsible for direct duty payments.

Payment responsibility

As a verified shipper, you're directly responsible for duty payments on all international shipments processed through your account. Zonos handles customs remittance to U.S. Customs and Border Control (CBP) on your behalf and invoices you for duties and fees.

Invoice features:

• Charges: Duties, Zonos service fees (varies by Postal Operator)
• Payment terms: Net 10-30 days, multiple payment methods available
• Payment methods: Bank transfers, ACH, wire transfers, credit cards
• Currency options: Local currency or USD billing
• Management tools: PDF downloads, CSV exports, payment processing, search & filter capabilities
• Detailed breakdowns: Tracking numbers, shipment dates, declared values, line-item charge breakdowns

Settings & account management 

Verified accounts have access to comprehensive settings:

• General settings like business name and address
• Payment method configuration and billing preferences
• Integrations, including the ability to set up new integrations
• Team management and user permissions

Integration management

To set up a new integration:

1. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Integrations
2. Click Connect an account
3. Create new account and select partner organization (e.g., Canada Post, Australia Post)

Once created, toggle between accounts using the Dashboard store switcher by clicking your store icon (top left) and selecting your store or clicking Switch store to search.

Note: When you link multiple accounts, they will share a single payment method. You cannot have different payment methods for each linked account.
