Classify provides HS codes for almost 200 countries.
Zonos Classify is powered by up-to-date tariff schedules for nearly 200 World Customs Organization (WCO) countries. With daily tariff schedule updates, you can be confident that Harmonized System (HS) codes generated by Classify will always be valid internationally. Note that outdated or invalid HS codes can result in hold-ups at customs, incorrect duty assessments, shipment rejections, and even penalties.
To retrieve the list of Classify supported countries via API, you can use the classifySupportedCountries query. This query allows you to fetch an up-to-date list of countries that can be automatically classified to the country-specific level by Classify. With any of the countries obtained from this query, include the country code(s) as the value in the shipToCountries property of your Classify request to generate country-specific classifications.
Note that if you request a classification for a country that is not supported by Classify, you will receive a universal HS code along with the following message: "Ship to country not supported; universal code returned."
